In July 2026, the energy storage cell industry achieved key mass-production upgrading. A new generation of ultra-large-capacity and long-life square-shell energy storage cells was officially put into large-scale production. The 790Ah wound energy storage cell adopts upgraded material system and structural optimization technology, achieving a volumetric energy density of over 440Wh/L, with a standard cycle life of 15,000 times and a calendar life of 30 years. It features ultra-low attenuation, excellent consistency and high safety redundancy, fully adapting to long-term standby and frequent charge-discharge working conditions of energy storage systems.

Compared with traditional small and medium-capacity cells, the 790Ah ultra-large-capacity cell greatly simplifies the overall structure of energy storage systems and reduces integrated accessories such as modules, busbars and connecting parts, effectively cutting system integration, construction and operation costs for large-scale energy storage stations. Widely applicable to grid peak shaving, industrial and commercial peak-valley arbitrage, off-grid backup energy storage and microgrid PV-storage integration, it improves space utilization and system operational stability. It has become a core product driving the energy storage industry toward high-capacity, long-life, low-cost and high-safety development.
